Community update from Karl Butler, General Manager, Dudgeon Offshore Wind Farm
Works are taking place from 31 January and 10 April 2023 at Dudgeon's onshore substation at Necton, Swaffham PE37 8EG.
The works being carried out by our contractors Siemens Energy are on schedule, with the main item of electrical plant being delivered to site on 28 February 2023.
We have now been informed of a specialist process, to filter the insulating oil, which will need to operate continuously through the day and night, 7th March to 10th March 2023.
The process is to pump oil through filters and is considered a low noise activity; however, the personnel supervising the process will require area lighting.
We do not expect there to be issues for Necton. However, we are keen to keep you informed and should you experience any significant disruption associated with this programme please contact:
