Location

The Dudgeon Offshore Wind Farm is located in water which is between 18-25m deep on a 55 km² site located 32 km off the coast of the seaside town of Cromer in North Norfolk. The electricity which it generates is bought to shore, via a seabed cable, at Weybourne Hope. From there an underground cable carries this electricity to Necton, Norfolk where a purpose build substation enables electricity to be transmitted into the National Grid.
